Managed to pull the engine out of the Vespa. Some of the rivets had popped from the repair on the rear, so pulled it off totally to inspect. 16:27:21, 2012-08-11
The rear damage seems to be stress-fractures from the weight of the after-market carrier box. Standard mount marked as max 6Kg load. 16:33:27, 2012-08-11
